Nuluv is a young herd, founded in 2009, focused on happy and healthy goats (CAE free).  We started Nuluv for our own family.  Our oldest son endured moderate to severe milk allergies for the first year of his life, and the cow milk just was not cutting it.  Living on a ranch in the hill country, we had been raising meat goats for several years.  We heard so many positive things regarding goats milk, it was simply the obvious choice.  After doing some research, we felt the nubian breed was the best match for our family with their inquisitive and playful nature, and their yummy milk!  My first milker, Dakota, and 2 doelings, came to live with us.  I fell in love.  Thus, NuLuv.  My favorite time of the day is when I am milking the girls.   We milk twice daily, by hand.  The girls get a home-made grain mixture on the stand and lots of alfalfa in the pens.  They graze on roughly 60 acres of pasture every day.  My son has plenty of fresh milk that his body can digest easily, and my family has a barn full of wonderful pets that bring smiles to our faces.  We spend 3-4 hours each day in the barn, so we have developed unique relationships with each goat in our herd, and have grown to love all the different personalities that make up Nuluv.  Our goats are not only part of our life, they are part of our family.
